Shaare Zedek and IDF Set Up "Rolls Royce of Emergency Care" in Haiti: Shaare Zedek proudly welcomed home its heroic staff returning from Haiti as part of Israel's search & rescue mission. Dr. Ofer Merin, Director of SZ's Emergency Preparedness & Response Program, served as the head of the surgical and intensive care unit in Port-au-Prince. He was accompanied by Gali Weiss, Head of Nursing at SZ, who served as the head nurse of the field hospital; Dr. Doron Goldberg, a senior OB-GYN & Dr. Ehud Lebel, SZ Director of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.
